I bought 2 VIP tix, and have a couple questions:

1. Someone told me that the VIP section is being catered. Is this true?

2. At what point will the secret band be revealed?

3. Is there a band order yet?

I don't have insider knowledge, but I think there's a big hint in the "Aggrolites Bassist?" thread...

It's The Aggrolites. At the time the show was put together (two weeks ago). We were told we were not allowed to use our name to advertize this show. Reason being, we headlined in L.A. last week and have a headlining show next week at the Key Club. Tickets for these shows were already on sale and contractualy, we were not able to use our name in the end and had to go as "suprise guest." It wasn't what we wanted, but legally it was the only way we could be a part of this show.

Got to love this business! In 2000 I ran sound for a benefit show that featured a "Switchfoot Cover Band", but we all knew the real Switchfoot was slated to play. They couldn't advertise and play as "Switchfoot" because of contractual issues for shows already booked in the area. But for some reason they were able to bill themself as a cover band and "cover" their own material. Nice. There are rules and then there are ways to get around the rules. The music shall go on - that's what is important. Cheers to the Aggrolites for making it happen despite the obstacles!

AND I HAD TO THINK ABOUT EQUIPMENT, MUSIC, PEOPLE PLAYING IN SOME OF THE SAME BANDS, ETC.

WE HAVE ADDED THE UPBEAT TOO.
AND MAYBE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE BY FISHBONE!!!
